About What2Do
Your AI-powered local activity guide
What is What2Do?
What2Do is an AI-powered activity finder that helps you discover things to do near you. Tell us a little about yourself — your age, group, mood, and budget — and we'll surface real, specific local activities tailored just for you.
Recommendations are real places you can actually visit, generated by Claude (Anthropic's AI). Enable weather-aware suggestions to automatically filter out activities that don't match current conditions — or get a warning if it's genuinely unsafe to go outside.

What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and plan type (Basic or Pro). When you use the activity finder, we temporarily process your search inputs (age, location, mood, budget, etc.) to generate recommendations — these inputs are not stored after the response is returned.
We store activity feedback (thumbs up/down) and your saved favorites so they persist across sessions. We also record the timestamp of your last generation to enforce usage limits on Basic accounts.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate What2Do: authenticating your account, personalising your experience, and enforcing plan limits. We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside of the services listed below.
Third-party services
Supabase — handles authentication and database storage. Your email and account data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic (Claude) — your search inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate activity recommendations. Anthropic processes this data per their API usage policy. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Open-Meteo & Nominatim — if weather-aware suggestions are enabled, your location string is sent to Open-Meteo and Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) to fetch current conditions. No personal identifiers are attached to these requests.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your profile, feedback history, saved favorites, and authentication record from our systems. We do not retain your data after deletion.
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at arjunbhatt0222@gmail.com.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your dark mode preference and distance unit setting. No third-party cookies or tracking pixels are used on this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of What2Do after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using What2Do, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of service
What2Do is an AI-powered activity recommendation tool. It suggests local activities and venues based on the preferences you provide. The service is provided "as is" and recommendations are generated by an AI model — they are not curated by humans and may not always reflect current conditions.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Activity recommendations are generated by Claude, Anthropic's AI. While we apply confidence filtering to reduce inaccurate results, we cannot guarantee that every named venue is currently open, accurate, or suitable for your needs. Always verify a location on Google Maps or by calling ahead before visiting.
What2Do is not liable for any inconvenience, loss, or expense resulting from acting on AI-generated recommendations.
User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use another person's account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use What2Do.
Pro plan
Pro plan access is provided as a feature of What2Do at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue Pro features at any time. Where a paid subscription is introduced in the future, specific billing terms will be presented at the point of purchase.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse or attempt to circumvent usage limits, use the service for any unlawful purpose, submit content designed to manipulate AI outputs in harmful ways, or attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, What2Do and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of What2Do after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact us at arjunbhatt0222@gmail.com.
